Malino Elementary School is the official, state-run academic institution of Barangay Malino, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. We are administered by the Department of Education and are responsible for the rendering free and equitable educational services to the area.

We were established in fulfillment of the Philippine Constitution’s guarantee of every Filipino child’s right to be educated at the basic level. We have recently adopted the K-12 academic system to enhance that our pupils graduate with sufficient skills to be productive and to help them become more competitive in the global stage.

Malino Elementary School envisions itself as a center for the development of learners in Barangay Malino and its surrounding localities. Our function is mainly to provide education within the campus, though we see our scope of responsibilities as a duty that expands far beyond the classrooms. We aim to impact social change for the better and we can do this by providing holistic education one learner at a time. By producing graduates who are considered to be model Filipino citizens, we believe that we contribute to our nation’s growth in a meaningful manner.

Our school is given the mandate to provide free, high quality and equitable education to the children of Barangay Malino. As such, we have put together the resources, manpower and knowledge granted to us by the Department of Education to create an ideal learning environment as best as we could. While we are by no means awash with financial capabilities, we make up for it with our passion for teaching and desire to help children advance in knowledge and character. Our school’s mission can be described using a four point agenda, specifically:

• Students learn in a child-friendly, safe, inclusive and esteem-building environment.
• Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
• Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
• Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners.

Our administrators, faculty and non-teaching staff are in constant collaboration with local government units, non-profit organizations and parents to ensure that students enjoy robust learning opportunities inside and outside the campus. We believe that while academics are vital to every child’s development, social skills and character building are just as important.

Following the DepEd’s lead, Malino Elementary School abides by four core values that shape its identity:

FThese values serve as principles that guide our teaching, activities and interactions with the community. Our belief I that these four values will help mold our nation’s youth into individuals who will move our country forward not just because they have the physical and intellectual capacities, but because they believe in doing it thanks to their good character.
